MTV - For the first of three shows that Britney Spears is performing at Madison Square Garden this week on the second leg of her Circus tour, fans came out in droves to catch a peek of the pop star performing some of their favorite tunes.

And those fans were still stoked after the concert was over. “It was like a circus!” Laura told MTV News just moments after the show wrapped. “She worked really hard. She was all oiled up. ‘Womanizer’ [was my favorite]. Everybody loved it.”

Another fan, Chris Dilella, caught the Circus the last time it came to town, but he felt that Britney definitely kept it fresh this time around. “Britney is absolutely awesome, and she’s amazing,” he said. “I feel like some of the song she did at the end, they changed a little. I liked ‘Circus’ in the beginning. I liked the sparks.”

After seeing the concert, young fan Lauren couldn’t help but pick Britney as her favorite over a newbie pop princess. “I love Britney. She’s my role model,” she said. “She’s better than Miley Cyrus. My favorite song is ‘Circus.’ ”

“It’s so annoying, because there’s always so much hype, and there are always so many people following actors when they’re not doing anything,” says the Disney star, on the phone from New York. She’s been talking up “Bandslam,” a scrappy high school musical of sorts that opened last week.

“I hate drama, so I try to avoid it at all costs.”

Milla Jovovich married director Paul W.S. Anderson in an intimate outdoor ceremony at their home in Beverly Hills on Saturday, PEOPLE has confirmed.

The magazine goes on to report that Jovovich wore a gown of her own design that she described as a “1960s minidress,” and the couple exchanged matching 18k Neil Lane classic gold wedding bands.

Jovovich and Anderson met on the set of the first ‘Resident Evil’ film — she starred, while he directed, wrote and produced.

The newlyweds are parents to a 20-month-old daughter, Ever Gabo, who was in attendance.
